A working farm is not a petting zoo. Animals have their own routines, the ground is uneven, and the weather decides a lot of what happens in a day. If you are planning to visit our farm in Conway, PA, here is what you should know.
Visits are by appointment
We do not keep regular public hours. Farm visits are scheduled in advance so we can give you our full attention and keep the animals calm. Use the visit page to request a date and time.
Wear the right shoes
Closed-toe shoes or boots are required. The pasture can be muddy, and our pigs and chickens are curious. Flip-flops, sandals, and dress shoes are not a good idea.
Children are welcome with supervision
We love introducing kids to farm life, but children must stay with an adult at all times. Animals can be unpredictable, and fences are there for safety.
You will need to sign a waiver
All farm visits require a signed liability waiver before you enter the pasture. Farming involves real risks, including uneven ground, livestock, and equipment. The waiver protects both you and the farm.
What you will see
Depending on the season, you may see pigs on pasture, laying hens moving through grass, chickens in their tractor, and the farmstand at the end of the drive. Every visit is a little different because the farm changes every day.
