Ordering and pickup
Do you ship?
No. Everything we sell is local pickup only at our farm in Conway, PA. We do not ship meat, eggs, or honey.
How does pickup work?
Order online and pay at checkout. After your order lands we text you to coordinate a pickup time that works for both of us. Bring a cooler and ice packs, especially in summer.
Where is the farm?
1701 Sampson Street, Conway, PA 15027, in Beaver County about 25 miles northwest of Pittsburgh. Easy run for folks in Cranberry, Sewickley, Moon, Beaver, Baden, Zelienople, and Butler County.
What payment methods do you take?
All orders are paid online through our secure checkout by card or the digital wallet on your phone. No cash needed at pickup unless you are shopping the honor-system farmstand.
Can I add to an order after I place it?
Yes. Text us before your pickup and we will combine it into one trip whenever inventory allows.
What if I need to reschedule?
Just text 412-491-9503. We are a family farm, plans change, and your food keeps fine in our freezer until you can get out here.
Pork and bundles
What breeds of pigs do you raise?
Berkshire and Blue Butt heritage hogs, raised on pasture on our own ground and finished on non-GMO feed. No growth hormones and no routine antibiotics.
Why do you sell bundles instead of only individual cuts?
Whole-hog butchering produces a fixed ratio of cuts. Bundles are the honest way to sell it: no cut leaves the farm unless every cut has a customer. That is also why the mixes look the way they do.
Which bundle should I start with?
The Backyard Bundle is about six pounds and fits a couple or a smaller family. The Cookout Bundle is about eleven pounds plus a dozen eggs and is the one most households pick. The BIG Bundle is seventeen pounds plus eggs for households that cook from the freezer weekly.
Can I pick my own cuts?
Yes. Build Your Own 5 lb Pork Bundle lets you choose your cuts for $50 with a one pound cap on bacon.
Is the pork fresh or frozen?
Vacuum-sealed and frozen. Held at zero degrees it keeps four to six months at peak quality. Thaw in the fridge and use within two to three days.
Where is the pork processed?
At a USDA-inspected facility, Whiting Family Foods in New Wilmington, PA. No additives, preservatives, or fillers in any of our meat.
Eggs
How much are your eggs?
Chicken eggs are $5 a dozen. Duck eggs are $11 a dozen when the ducks are laying. There is a two dozen limit per order on chicken eggs so more families get some.
Why are the yolks so orange?
Real pasture. Our hens eat grass, bugs, and seeds all day, and that diet is what deepens yolk color and flavor. It is not a feed additive.
Do the eggs need to be refrigerated?
We collect by hand and do not wash off the natural bloom, so unwashed eggs keep on the counter for a couple of weeks. Once washed or refrigerated, keep them in the fridge.
Are duck eggs different to cook with?
Yes, and bakers love them. Bigger yolks and more protein in the white make richer custards and taller cakes. Swap roughly two duck eggs for three chicken eggs.
Chicken and turkey
How does the chicken pre-sale work?
You reserve a whole bird by weight tier at $8 a pound, pay today, and pick up at the farm. Retail after the pre-sale is $10 a pound. Batches are small and they do sell out.
Are the chickens fresh or frozen?
Frozen immediately upon processing, then held frozen until pickup.
Are your birds vaccinated?
No. Our meat birds are unvaccinated, raised on pasture in movable shelters, and finished on non-GMO feed.
How does the Thanksgiving turkey pre-sale work?
Pasture-raised turkeys are $7 a pound on pre-sale, $9 a pound after, in weight tiers from 10 to 20 pounds. Forty-five birds for this season, reserved first come first served.
Visiting the farm
Can I visit the farm?
Yes, by appointment. We host small experiences including Cows and Coffee, Pet a Highland, Be a Farmer for a Day, and kids farm education groups. Request dates on our experiences page.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
Every adult signs a liability waiver, and a parent or guardian signs for each child. A working farm has uneven ground, large animals, and equipment. We send the waiver ahead of your visit.
Can I bring my dog?
Please leave dogs at home. We have livestock and guardian animals on pasture and it is not a safe mix.
What is the farmstand?
An honor-system stand at the farm. Pull in, take what you need, and leave payment in the box. Stocked with eggs, honey, and seasonal goods when they are available.

What do I get for joining the farm list?
A text or email before we post publicly when bacon, eggs, chicken, or turkey are ready. Small batches sell out fast and the list gets first look.
What is First Dibs?
Our free membership. Members get 48-hour early access to every drop, member pricing, and first look at farm events and experiences.
Will you text me constantly?
No. We text when there is food to pick up or a real deadline. Reply STOP anytime and you are off the list.
