Be a Farmer for a Day

    Real chores, start to finish

Boots on, work gloves ready. You gather eggs, feed and water the birds, help move fence, and finish the day with the same list we finish. It is the best way to understand where pasture-raised food actually comes from, and nobody leaves without dirt on them.

    Half day, morning start

    Ages 10 and up

    Kids Farm Education

    Groups, classrooms, and scouts

A guided walk built for kids: how a laying hen makes an egg, why pigs root, what rotational grazing does for soil, and how a family farm makes a living. Great for homeschool co-ops, classrooms, scout troops, and birthday groups.

    Length
    60 to 90 minutes
    Group size
    Groups up to 25

    How a visit works

Every experience is by appointment. We are a working farm, so we schedule around chores, weather, and whatever the animals decide to do that morning. Send the form below and we will text you with the next few openings that fit your group.

Every adult signs a liability waiver, and a parent or guardian signs for each child. A working farm has uneven ground, large animals, and equipment, and the waiver simply acknowledges those risks. We send it ahead of time so nobody is filling out paperwork in a pasture.

Wear closed-toe boots or shoes you do not mind ruining. Dress for the weather, not the forecast. Leave dogs at home; our livestock guardian animals do not negotiate.
