Our Beef Program: What We Are Building

    Back to Journal

We are two years into building a small grass-finished beef program at Bryant Creek. Twenty acres of pasture are cleared, fence is going in, and the first animals arrive in the spring.

    Where we are today

  1. 20 acres of new pasture seeded and rested
  2. Perimeter fence and interior paddocks going up
  3. Water lines and shade structures planned
  4. Herd source identified
  5. The herd

We are starting small. A few grass-genetics animals from a Pennsylvania cow-calf operation we trust. Angus and Angus-cross to start, with room to add other breeds as we learn the land.

    Timeline

  6. Spring: animals arrive as weaned yearlings
  7. 24 to 30 months later: first harvest
  8. First shares available: winter of 2027 to spring of 2028
  9. What shares will look like

Quarters, halves, and wholes, all grass-finished, dry-aged, cut to your spec at a USDA-inspected processor. Pickup in Conway.
