About this product
The Cookout Bundle is the mid-tier freezer pack from Bryant Creek Heights in Conway, Pennsylvania. About eleven pounds of Berkshire and Blue Butt heritage pork plus a dozen pasture-raised eggs. One hundred thirty-nine dollars. This is the bundle most households pick because it is enough variety to cook from for weeks without being so large it needs a dedicated freezer.
Included: four bone-in pork chops, ground pork, thick-cut hickory-smoked bacon, a rack of spare ribs, and a dozen of our hand-collected pasture eggs. Everything is USDA-processed at an inspected facility, vacuum-sealed, and frozen individually so you can pull exactly what you need without thawing the rest.
Why the mix looks the way it does: whole-hog butchering produces a fixed ratio of cuts on any given animal. Chops, ground, ribs, and belly are the four categories most households use most weeks. This bundle is that base kit at a volume that carries a family through a busy month, or a couple through a whole season.
The four chops give you two weeknight dinners, or one bigger meal with leftovers. Ground pork covers meatballs, ragu, tacos, dumplings, chili. The spare ribs are a proper weekend project: dry rub on Friday night, low and slow on the grill or in the oven on Saturday, plan on three to four hours at two-fifty tented. The bacon is our standard thick-cut, one-pound cryovac. The eggs are our regular hand-collected dozen from the Rhode Island Reds and Easter Eggers.
This bundle assumes a household that cooks pork more than once a week. If you cook once a week or less, the Backyard Bundle is a better starting point and you can step up later. If you cook from the freezer daily or feed a bigger household, the BIG Bundle is the next tier.
Freezer space: eleven pounds of vacuum-sealed pork fills most of a standard freezer compartment and comfortably fits a small chest freezer with room for more. Bring a cooler and ice packs for the ride home. Local pickup at the farm at 1701 Sampson Street, Conway PA 15027, scheduled by text.
Every pound comes off pigs raised on our own land, on real pasture, finished on non-GMO feed, with no hormones and no antibiotics. Small-farm heritage pork the way heritage pork was meant to be eaten.
